HILLARY!!! In 2008?

Already there are rumblings in the Democratic party that Hillary is the natural choice for 2008. While I do see some benefits to this to the Dems, I question whether they outweigh the negatives. Two liberal co-workers of mine thought Hillary running in 2008 wouldn't be a good idea, whereas another liberal co-worker argued that Hillary would be the one that could win over the "security moms" that voted for Bush this election.

So what more does Hillary bring to the table than Kerry?
The real question is whether Hillary will be able to win over the states that Kerry couldn't. From a democratic perspective, here are some of the Pros and Cons of having Hillary in 2008.

PROS:
1) she is already nationally known
2) she has a large chunk of the population that loves her
3) she is Senator of a large state
4) her husband practiced conservative lite and got the moderate vote

CONS:
1) she is a Senator
2) A large chunk of the population can't stand her
3) She is a northeasterner
